Home burns twice in two days

MULKEYTOWN, IL (KFVS) - A home in rural Mulkeytown burns twice in as many days.
Ziegler and Royalton firefighters got the first call to the home on Church Road Tuesday night around 6:30.
The fire started in the attic and caused extensive damage to the ceiling and interior of the home, but it was still standing.
That is until the fire re-ignighted Wednesday morning and burnt what was left of it to the ground.
Fire crews say contractors had been doing work on the air conditioner in the attic early Tuesday.  They're not sure whether or not that had something to do with sparking the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the family until their insurance kicks in to rebuild the home.
