Local soldier missing in action from Korean War to be laid to rest Wednesday

ST. LOUIS, MO (KFVS ) - A soldier from Poplar Bluff reported missing during the Korean War will finally be laid to rest.
The military says Private First Class David Woodruff was captured by enemy troops in 1951.
It's believed he died in or near a prison camp in Korea.
Woodruff's remains were just recently identified, some 58 years after his disappearance.
Later today Woodruff will be buried at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis.
