JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Police need help identifying a burglary suspect.

Jackson and Cape Girardeau police are trying to identify a suspect in a string of burglaries in the area.

Police believe a home burglarized April 10, 2009 in Jackson is connected to other recent break-ins.

The victims walked in during the burglary and chased down the suspect but he got away in a small red car.

According to police, the suspect is a Hispanic male, between 5'6" and 5'8", with a thin to medium build, and a slight Hispanic accent.

Police released a composite sketch of the man they believe to be the suspect.   

The suspect got away with jewelry and other items.
