Paducah offers police chief position to Conn. man

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Paducah City Commission offered the police chief position to the police chief of Manchester, Connecticut.
James Berry interviewed with the commission that unanimously approved the move to hire him.
Berry says he'll discuss the offer with his family and hopes to have a decision in about a week.
"It's only been a day and a half, but I have really fallen in love with what I have seen so far," Berry said in a news release to Heartland News.
The man previously chosen to take over as Paducah's police chief turned down the job a few weeks ago.
