Carbondale police arrest three in early morning assault

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale Police arrested three men after they say a man was attacked early Friday.

Dustin M. Miller, 25 of Pulaski, Illinois faces battery, mob action, possession of a deadly weapon by a felon and resisting a police officer charges. 

Randy M. Harper, 33 of Murphysboro, faces battery and mob action charges. 

Adam W. Vanhooser, 21 of Belleville, Illinois faces aggravated assault charges.

Police say a 35-year-old man from Pulaski was hit and kicked by two of the suspects while a third man pulled a knife to keep the victim's friends from intervening.

The victim received minor injures and did not accept medical treatment.

All three suspects were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
