    The American Legion post in Sikeston, Missouri held the start of the areas Legacy Ride, where motorcycle riders travel around to different American Legion posts to collect money for the Legacy Scholarship, which according to The American Legion is a scholarship for children of post-9/11 veterans who died on active duty, or have a combined VA disability rating of 50 percent or greater.
