By: Heartland News
PADUCAH, Ky. - Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery in Paducah.
Paducah police say about 9:40 Thursday morning, a man handed a teller at the Regions Bank on Hinkleville Road a note demanding money. The note said the man had a gun, but the teller never saw one.
The teller gave the suspect some cash and he ran away.
Police believe the man then hooked up with a get-away car. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department brought a dog to track the suspect's scent. The dog tracked him 125 yards, past two business and then north toward the mall parking lot.
He's described as white, 5'10" to 6' tall and 25-35 years old.
He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, a blue jacket and blue jeans.
Meantime, the Regions Bank branch off of Hinkleville Road in Paducah is closed for the day.
