Survey Reveals High School Students Lie, Cheat, Steal
By: Heartland News

A new study reveals an alarming number of high school students lie, cheat, and steal.

A survey of 30,000 high school students uncovers disappointing results. A total of 30 percent overall admitted stealing from a store within the past year.  Forty-two percent said that they sometimes lie to save money.  A majority of high schoolers (64-percent) admitted to cheating on a test during the past year.  That's up from 60 percent and 35 percent, respectively, in 2006.

But despite that, 93 percent of those surveyed indicated they were satisfied with their personal character and ethical standards. When you consider these are our future mortgage brokers and law makers, some found the results alarming.
