BROSELY, Mo. - A Butler County church is destroyed after lightning strikes the builiding Tuesday night.
Butler County Fire Chief Bob Fredwell tells Heartland News, neighbors in the Brosley area heard the lightening bolt hit.
Minutes later they noticed the Landreth Chapel Church was in flames.
Fire crews responded as quickly as they could, but by the time they arrived much of the building was destroyed, mainly due to smoke damage.
