DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - The Stoddard County Sheriff's Office asks for help finding a wanted man.

Don Murphy is wanted for Class B felony of manufacturing marijuana and Class A felony of trafficking in the first degree.

Stoddard County Prosecutor Russ Oliver says he dropped the charges against Robert Williams, Murphy's co-defendant, Thursday in part because police still haven't arrested Murphy.

Oliver says he believes if they can find Murphy, he could re-file charges against Williams.

Murphy is described as 6'3 and about 190 pounds with reddish brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen driving a black 2002 Cadillac passenger vehicle with a license #CD8A7R.

Anyone with information about Murphy is asked to call the Stoddard County Sheriff's Office at 573-568-4654.

He could be possibly traveling back and forth from southern Illinois to southeast Missouri.

Deputies found 300 to 400 marijuana plants in a vacated trailer with a high tech ventilation and growth light system on old Sand Road near Dexter in October 2010.

The pot is estimated to be worth between $800,000 and $900,000.

The sheriff's department received an anonymous tip about the plants.

Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner says it was the largest indoor growth operation he had seen since he's been in office which has been 20 years.
