KELSO, MO (KFVS) - During Christmas of 2009, a house in Kelso, MO was one of the most decorated homes in the Heartland, complete with a synchronized light show. It's back in 2010 and better than before.

The display was already a show-stopper---make that traffic-stopper---last year. The public response fired up brothers Brandon and Brooks Clark to do it again, but better.

"We didn't actually think that many people would come and see it, but boy, they did," said Brandon Clark.

This year, the brothers added 80,000 more lights, doubled the power to 400 amps and added a new breaker and costly transformer all to power up the pizzazz.  The brothers do construction and contracting by trade. They say they spent every rainy day this past year working on props.

"It's a lot of hard work and time, but it's worth it in the end," Brooks Clark said.

Last year, the brothers did all of this for fun, hoping to help Heartland families create some holiday memories as they watch the show together. This year, they decided to ask for donations with 100 percent of the money going solely to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

"It's all a part of the Christmas spirit," said Brandon.

If you'd like to watch the show, it starts Thanksgiving night. On Friday through Sunday nights, you can see the lights from 5 to 11 p.m. During the week from Monday through Thursday, it runs from 5 to 9 p.m.  The show does not operate when it's raining or snowing.

The home is on Scott County Road 208, on the right, just before the Knights of Columbus hall when coming from Cape Girardeau.
