CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The "Quality of Life in Cape Girardeau" group is set to present signatures to get the casino issue on the November ballot at Tuesday night's city council meeting.

The meeting is set to start at 7 p.m.

The group already submitted 1,529 of the 2,635 signatures needed to the clerk's office a couple of weeks ago. They did this to give them an early start on validating the signatures.

The only trouble the group has had getting signatures is "dealing with the heat," according to group leader Doug Austin.
