CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Cape Girardeau Regional Airport now has a new air service called Cape Air.
Cape Girardeau Airport manager Bruce Loy said he thinks this provider is here and here stay.
Laura Wibbenmeyer got a first hand experience of the round trip flight. She said although the plane is small with little leg room, the views are awesome.
It was mainly cloudy Wednesday, the day of her trip, but on clear days the view is even better.
She says the quick check in, security lines, and boarding are definitely a plus.
In fact, from check in to landing in St. Louis it only took 1.5 hours total. Many other first timers joined Laura, like Akbar Sha.
He said he visits family in Cape Girardeau often and this flight would be very convenient. After the flight he said Cape Air is the way he will travel from now on.
"I loved it. I will definitely take this flight every time I travel. I hate the drive from St. Louis to Cape. It is so boring" She said.
