BARLOW, KY (KFVS) -- The Ballard County Animal control is looking into a string of animal poisonings that have been happening in the VFW Road and North Adkins Dixon Road area.
Investigators said since May 2008, 12 pets have gotten sick from what investigators believe is poisoning. Nine have died.
Police believe someone is using anti-freeze or food laced with anti-freeze to kill the animals.
Anyone with information about the poisonings is asked to call Ballard County Animal Control officer James Campbell at 270-335-3691 or the Ballard County Sheriff's Department at 270-335-3561.
