CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY (KFVS) -- Emergency crews are searching the Diversion channel near Dutchtown after finding an overturned boat.
Police rushed to the scene around 2:30p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Once they got there they discovered the overturned boat.
They immediately called in the water rescue team. That team started searching the water but as of right now they have not found anything.
Crews believe the believe the boat may have been in the water for several days.
