DONIPHAN, MO (KFVS) - A Poplar Bluff man faces several charges after police say he threatened his estranged wife and was involved in a crash in Doniphan.
Aaron Eldridge faces Domestic Assault in the First Degree, Armed Criminal Action and violation of an Ex-parte Order. More charges are pending in Ripley County by the Doniphan Police Department.
Witnesses report Eldridge rammed his estranged wife's vehicle and physically assaulted her with his hands. Police say he also pointed a rifle at Crystal Eldridge, according to the Poplar Bluff Police Department.
Eldridge fled the scene before officers arrived, but was involved in a crash on Highway 160 just west of Doniphan.
Crystal Eldridge was taken to St. Louis University Hospital with serious injuries.
Eldridge was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and listed in stable condition.
