Groundbreaking on new clinic in Jackson

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Construction is underway for the new SoutheastHEALTH primary care clinic in Jackson.

The groundbreaking and unveiling ceremonies were held on Friday, April 12.

The facility is expected to be complete in December.

The 11,652 square foot clinic will include 10 exam rooms, one procedure room, onsite x-ray, ultrasound and lab services and a retail pharmacy.

“Southeast Primary Care of Jackson continues SoutheastHEALTH’s commitment to position high quality low cost healthcare services across southeast Missouri,” said Ken Bateman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SoutheastHEALTH. “This project and the investment it requires underscores our commitment to Jackson and the surrounding region, and will be grounded in the principles of evidence-based practice, and exceptional patient and family experiences.”

Other primary care clinics are located in Cape Girardeau, Dexter, Malden, Bernie, Sikeston, Perryville, Poplar Bluff and Bloomfield. A new primary care clinic is set to open this spring in New Madrid.
