Good Thursday Afternoon Heartland. Clouds have moved back into the area and light rain is on the radar. At this time, most of the rain is evaporating before reaching the surface. Scattered light rain showers will occur overnight into tomorrow. Temperatures will be chilly this evening. Lows by morning will be in the middle 30s north to near 40 far south.
Friday will be cloudy with scattered showers possible. Highs will be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Heavy rain will become likely Friday night through Saturday. This will aggravate the flooding concerns across the Heartland. We will also see a threat of severe storms Saturday afternoon. Because of this we have issued a First Alert Action Day for Saturday.
