MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Two people suffered injuries after a crash in McCracken County, Kentucky.

Deputies from the county said on Sunday night, February 10, deputies were called to the 6600 block of Kentucky Dam Rd for a single-vehicle crash with injuries.

They determines 29-year-old Aaron L. Laffoon of Calvery City was headed eastbound with passenger Robyn N. Green-Laffoon, 30 also of Calvert City.

Deputies said Aaron’s vehicle hydroplaned and crossed over into on-coming traffic. It then exited the left side of the road and went down an embankment where it hit a tree.

The vehicle went up another embankment and into a resident’s driveway. Deputies said the vehicle became airborne and flipped landing on its top and continued to roll.

Deputies said the vehicle crossed several driveways and front yards and came to a rest in the front yard where deputies found it.

Robyn had to be removed from the vehicle by mechanical means according to officials. Both were transported to an area hospital for incapacitating injuries.

Deputies said weather and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the collision.

Aaron Laffoon was issued a citation for failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first-offense. Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EMS, Reidland – Farley Fire Department, and Speedy’s Towing
