WASHINGTON (KFVS) - President Donald Trump has ordered all U.S. Flags be flown at half-staff following the death of former Rep. John Dingell of Michigan.

Dingell was the longest serving member of Congress in the nation's history.

According to the President, the flag shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government until sunset, February 9, 2019.

The flag shall also be flown at half-staff at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.
