JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KFVS) - Missouri Gov. Parson and the First Lady Teresa Parson hosted a celebration of the Lunar New Year Monday evening, Feb. 4.

It was held outside the of the governor’s office at the Missouri State Capitol.

A traditional lion dance was performed by students from the St. Louis Chinese Language School, and a musical performance by students from the Columbia Chinese Language School.

A traditional Duì Lián, or couplet, was hung around the governor’s office doors.

Governor Parson and Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe will host a celebration of the Lunar New Year outside the Governor’s Office at the Missouri State Capitol tonight. View LIVE:
