Man in custody after 15 marijuana plants seized in Madison Co., MO

FREDERICKTOWN, MO (KFVS) - A Madison County, Missouri man is facing charges after sheriff's deputies seized marijuana plants at a home on January 16.

According to Sheriff Katy McCutcheon, 15 plants, a .22 rifle and growing materials and supplies were seized.

Jimmy L. Smith, 42, was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

He was taken to the Madison County Jail on $25,000 bond.

He is scheduled to be in court on January 24 at 9 a.m. in Fredericktown.
