Escaped inmate out of Paducah caught in Louisville, KY

Escaped KY inmate captured

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Kentucky State Police officials reported that inmate Frankie Lee Higdon was arrested in Louisville, Ky.

Police said he was arrested at 11:51 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21 by Louisville Metro Police Department. He was lodged in Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.

Kentucky State Police originally reported Higdon was missing from Keeton Correctional Facility on Jan. 19.

The facility called KSP around 1:17 a.m. about the inmate when they realized he was missing.

33-year-old Frankie Lee Higdon of Louisville, KY, is described as a white male, 5′11″ tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was seen wearing a tan jacket, black pants and carrying a black backpack at the time of his escape.
