18-year-old facing charges after 9mm gun, 43 rounds of ammo stolen in Martin, TN

MARTIN, TN (KFVS) - An 18-year-old is facing burglary, theft and other charges after a gun was stolen from a Martin, Tennessee home.

According to police, it happned on January 13. The resident on Meadowbrook Drive told police someone got into her home and took a 9mm handgun and 43 rounds of ammunition from a nightstand.

Police determined there was no evidence of forced entry.

After an investigation, it was learned that Richard Pendleton, 18, was responsible for the burglary and theft.

The gun and ammunition was recovered from Pendleton.

Police said Pendleton wrote a statement saying he was responsible for the aggravated burglary and theft.
