CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -Good Wednesday Afternoon Heartland. Once again, we are seeing a lot of cloud cover and these clouds will likely stick around for a while. Temperatures are being held down into the lower and middle 40s thanks to the clouds, which is where we should be for this time of the year. Later tonight towards the early morning hours Thursday these clouds will start to produce some rain. Rainfall rates will be light. Temperatures overnight will remain steady.
Thursday will be cloudy with a good chance of light rain. Total rainfall amounts will range between a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch in most areas with a few isolated areas receiving close to a half of an inch. Highs will range from the middle 40s north to middle 50s south.
