WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) - Weakley County Sheriff’s Department officials said a woman was charged after she brought pills into the correction facility.
They said 50-year-old Donna Delanie Landrum of Sharon, Tennessee was charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility. That is a felony charge according to officials.
On Tuesday, Jan. 15 Landrum was booked into the Weakley County Correction Facility on a charge of failure to appear.
Officials said while searching Landrum’s person she was found to have a pill bottle hidden under her pants. Inside the bottle were oxycodone pills. The bottle was not for oxycodone.
She was charged with introduction of drugs into a county jail.
