Mt. Vernon, IL police looking for bank robbery suspect

Man wanted in Mt. Vernon bank robbery

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Police in Mt. Vernon are looking for a bank robbery suspect.

On Monday, January 14 at around 4:51 p.m., police say they responded to Fifth and Third Bank on Broadway for a report of a robbery.

According to the reports, a man robbed the bank and fled on foot, going southeast. The suspect is described as wearing a black hat, camouflage coat, white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Police say no one was injured in the incident.
