Deputies find man with meth lab in backpack

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Deputies discovered a man’s backpack was actually a methamphetamine lab.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies saw a suspicious man walking in the 1000 block of Oaks Road.

After gving consent to search his backpack, the man decided to run. He was caught a few minutes later.

Deputies were able to dispose of the meth lab.

Michael Fiscus, 37, of Paducah, Ky. was charged with fleeing/evading, public intoxication, manufacturing meth, trafficking a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
