Juveniles accused of multiple burglaries in Murray, KY

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Two juveniles are accused of multiple burglaries in the “Cambridge 2” area of Murray, Kentucky.

Over the recent holidays, seven burglaries were reported to police in the area off of Bailey Rd. which is commonly called “Cambridge 2”.

This area includes Welch Dr., Harvard Dr., Princeton Dr., Stanford Dr., Vassar Dr. and Wilshire Dr.

During their investigation, officers and detectives with the Murray Police Department say information led them to two juveniles who live in the “Cambridge 2” area.

A search was made of a storage shed after officers spoke with the juveniles and their guardians.

Officers say they found multiple items in the shed that had been reported stolen in the recent burglary reports.

A handgun, jewelry, clothing, and electronic devices were some of the items police report finding and recovering from the storage shed.

Charges were filed against the suspects through the office assigned to handling juvenile cases through the Calloway District Court.

Both juveniles are facing first degree burglary and theft of a firearm charges.

Murray Police is asking others living in the “Cambridge 2” area to come forward if there were any other possible burglaries that were not reported.
