(KFVS) - Blue Campaign is asking everyone to wear blue on Jan. 11.
The 11th day of January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
Blue Campaign is part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) work to end human trafficking. Learn more about their efforts here.
To raise awareness for the issue, the campaign asks people and their families and friends to wear blue and post a photo on social media with the hashtag #WearBlueDay.
The day is also supported by endslaverynow, an organization that lists forms of slavery as domestic servitude, sex trafficking, forced labor, bonded labor, child labor and forced marriage.
