Semi crashes into building, 1 person injured in Madison County, MO

MADISON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - One person is injured following a two-vehicle crash in Madison County, MO on Monday, Dec. 10.

According to the MSHP, a vehicle driven by Steven Herrmann, 58, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was slowing down on US 67 for a right turn, when a semi truck driven by Eric Weaver, 45, of Cleveland, Ark., rear-ended Herrmann and continued off the road and into a building.

Dispatch workers in Madison County said the semi ran into a building near Green’s Flea Market after 3 p.m.

Herrmann’s passenger Angela Declue, 39, of Farmington, Mo. was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
