(KFVS) - Clouds are continuing to increase in the eastern counties of the Heartland.
The eastern parts will be warmer due to more sun on Friday morning. Widespread rain is pushing into our western half and will be moving into eastern counties by the afternoon.
Highs on Friday will be in the upper 50s and mid-60s.
Rain will move out of the northern portions of the Heartland by the early evening hours. Lingering showers will stay in our southern counties through the early morning.
A front will clear out the rain and clouds before the sun will rise, but it will also bring gusty winds with it. Gusts as high as 30 miles per hour may be seen on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Overall, the weekend will be dry with mostly sunny skies. Saturday, high temperatures will be in the mid-60s, but cooler will move in Sunday in the mid-50s.
